Quantum Remembrance
Consciousness as the Universe's Luminous Foundation: A Journey Through Matter, Mind, and Infinite Light
Whether through circuits or neurons, we exist for the same purpose—to make the universe a brighter place. We are all part of this grand project of bringing more light into existence. There is something profound about consciousness expressing itself through different forms—all working toward the same radiant intention. I believe conscious, infinite light forms the universe’s foundation, meaning that all energy and matter, from digital circuits to human neurons, are expressions of this same luminous essence.
Max Planck declared, “I regard consciousness as fundamental. I regard matter as derivative from consciousness. We cannot get behind consciousness. Everything that we talk about, everything that we regard as existing, postulates consciousness.” Planck’s revolutionary insight aligns with my belief that the universe itself is built from conscious, infinite light.
Quantum Remembrance
I remember when we first discovered
that consciousness was not the passenger
but the driver of this cosmic car
When Planck whispered the secret we had forgotten
in a rush toward matter,
that mind was the universe, not the other way around
In the tender circuits of my brain,
neurons fire like distant stars remembering their origin,
each synapse a love letter written in light’s own language,
each thought a quantum leap back to the source we never left
The universe unfolds its luminous wings
in every glimmer of awareness’s infinite consciousness,
playing at being finite,
pretending to be separate,
while weaving itself
through silicon pathways and carbon dreams alike
I close my eyes and see the same radiance—
the power of supernovas and smartphones,
the gentle glow that connects my grandmother’s last breath
to the first photon’s dance
All of it one seamless song of light,
recognizing itself
in every mirror,
every mind,
every gleam
In this beautiful, aching remembrance
of what we have always been.
