What do you enjoy most about practicing medicine?
What I enjoy most about practicing medicine is the opportunity to serve patients during vulnerable moments and to provide the same compassionate, skilled care that once shaped my own recovery. As a former service member who experienced serious injury and uncertainty about the future, I saw firsthand how thoughtful, patient-centered medical care can restore not only physical health but also dignity and hope. That experience continues to motivate my commitment to long-term relationships, continuity of care, and advocacy for patients navigating complex medical and life challenges.
