Satia Harper is a dedicated Occupational Therapist currently practicing at Mars Pediatric Therapy, where she applies her expertise to help children achieve their full physical and developmental potential. A passionate student of Exercise Science, Satia began her academic journey at Delaware State University in Dover, Delaware, before transferring to Frostburg State University in Frostburg, Maryland, where she earned her Bachelor’s degree in May 2020. She then pursued her Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy at The University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences in Coral Gables, Florida. Her academic foundation—including extensive coursework in anatomy and related health sciences—has strengthened her understanding of human movement, wellness, healthcare systems, and the diverse needs of rehabilitation populations.

With a particular interest in pediatric occupational therapy, strength training methodologies, children’s mental health, reform programs for youth in juvenile detention systems, and educational programs for young parents with infants, Satia is committed to designing engaging and effective strategies that promote active, healthy, and productive lifestyles for children and families. Throughout her academic journey, she demonstrated a strong commitment to service and leadership. She volunteered with community initiatives such as Children’s Fitness Day, local Food Bank programs, organizing and distributing meals for after-school programs, and Sabrina's Adaptive Beach Day—an inclusive event where she assisted wheelchair-bound individuals and their families in safely enjoying the beach using adaptive beach chairs and monitored safe ocean transitions.

Her involvement in the Delaware HOSA Conference, assisting with event coordination in the nursing sector, highlighted her teamwork, attention to detail, and strong communication skills. Beyond her professional and academic pursuits, Satia has shown exemplary leadership and character. As Captain of her high school tennis team and a member of both the National Society of High School Scholars and the National Society of Leadership and Success, she exemplified integrity, motivation, and collaboration. Satia continues to pursue opportunities for professional growth in pediatric therapy and exercise science, driven by her compassion for children and her commitment to building healthier, more active communities.
