What do you enjoy most about practicing medicine?
What I love most about my job is being able to help people and give them a beautiful smile. My assistant always says that I remember every one of my patients and every conversation we had. Being a dentist goes way beyond the teeth - as a dentist, you're a therapist. I love to give people that safe space where they're able to express themselves. My greatest joy is being able to give my patients the smile that they deserve and help them get their confidence back. I wanted to be able to give people the kind of smile that I never had growing up. When I was young, my dentition was terrible and people made fun of me, so I told myself that I would make sure a child does not have to go through that. Your smile is the most significant factor that someone would remember when they see you, and I like to give people the kind of smile that would help them have a lot of confidence.
