Trace Huang, MD
Dr. Trace is a down-to-earth psychiatrist specializing in the mental health of aspiring and working professionals. He provides concierge-style online care for college students, graduate learners, medical professionals and other high-performing professionals in navigating stress, burnout, perfectionism, and the pressures of high-performance environments.
His passion for this work is rooted in his own lived experience. In the middle of medical school, Dr. Trace found himself overwhelmed by self-doubt, exhaustion and burnout. Choosing to seek mental health support changed the trajectory of his life—helping him rediscover balance, improve his habits, and rebuild the mindset that ultimately fuels his success to this day. It was a turning point that ignited his dedication to helping others protect their mental health while pursuing ambitious goals.
With more than 10 years of one-on-one teaching and 8 years of mentoring medical students around the world, Dr. Trace blends empathy with evidence-based expertise. His holistic approach integrates ancient Eastern wisdom—such as meditation, yoga, qi gong, tai chi, mindfulness, and principles of balance and self-acceptance—with modern Western practices, including psychotherapy, behavioral tools, exercise science, nutrition, and if needed, prescription medications. His guiding philosophy is to treat the whole person, not just symptoms—restoring harmony in the mind, body, and daily life.
Dr. Trace received his medical degree from Loma Linda University with high honors and completed his psychiatry residency at the University of California, Riverside where he served as Chief Resident.
Today, he continues to empower people around him to feel grounded, energized, and genuinely well—without sacrificing their dreams or identity.
