Timothy Williams, LPC, is a highly experienced Licensed Professional Counselor and Mental Health Specialist with more than two decades of service in the mental health field. Since 2002, he has been an active member of the National Disaster Medical System (NDMS) with the Arizona Disaster Medical Assistance Team (AZ-1 DMAT), providing critical mental health support during major national crises, including deployments following Hurricanes Ivan and Katrina.
Throughout his career, Timothy has combined clinical expertise with a deep commitment to education and service. He is a sought-after keynote speaker and lecturer at National Disaster Mental Health Conferences, where he shares his extensive experience in disaster response, trauma recovery, and crisis intervention. His presentations are known for their depth, compassion, and real-world insight into the psychological impact of disaster work.
In private practice, Timothy leads Tim F. Williams, LPC, where he provides counseling, mental health consulting, and training services to individuals and organizations. His practice focuses on helping clients navigate trauma, anger management, and dual diagnosis challenges with empathy and professionalism.
Timothy holds a Master of Arts in Education with a concentration in Counseling and Human Relations from Northern Arizona University. His lifelong dedication to supporting others through healing, resilience, and recovery continues to define his work in both clinical and community settings.
