Tashiba Williams, APRN, FNP-C is a highly experienced and compassionate Family Nurse Practitioner based in Houston, Texas. With more than 10 years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner and over 25 years in nursing, including 15 years as an Emergency Room Registered Nurse, she brings a strong clinical foundation and extensive hands-on expertise to every patient encounter. Tashiba is dedicated to delivering patient-centered care rooted in respect, active listening, and individualized treatment planning.

Dr. Williams earned her Doctor of Science in Family Nurse Practitioner from Walden University in 2016, following her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Chicago State University in 2011. She is board certified by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and holds active Registered Nurse licenses in Texas, Missouri, and Louisiana. Her clinical credentials are complemented by current ACLS and BCLS certifications, reinforcing her commitment to maintaining the highest standards of patient safety and evidence-based care.

Currently serving as a Family Nurse Practitioner and Mobile Wound Care Specialist at Ada Family Health Clinic in Houston, Tashiba provides comprehensive primary, urgent, and acute care services to patients across the lifespan, from newborns to geriatric populations. She manages a high-volume practice, seeing between 30 and 40 patients daily, and specializes in chronic disease management, minor procedures, women’s health exams, joint injections, and in-home wound care for acute and chronic wounds, including diabetic ulcers, venous stasis ulcers, pressure injuries, and post-operative wounds.

Throughout her career, Tashiba has held diverse clinical roles in urgent care, hospitalist medicine, and family practice settings. Her experience includes serving as a Hospitalist Nurse Practitioner with Krucial Staffing and practicing in multiple Houston-area clinics, where she diagnosed and treated a wide range of acute and chronic conditions. She has extensive experience performing minor procedures, interpreting diagnostic testing, coordinating interdisciplinary care teams, and mentoring medical assistants and nurse practitioner students.

An active member of professional organizations including the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, ENP Network, Sigma Theta Tau Honor Society of Nursing, and wound care certification networks, Tashiba remains committed to professional growth and excellence in clinical practice.
