Shawna Gray, FNP-BC, CFRN, CEN

Shawna Gray is a Family Nurse Practitioner with 21 years of nursing experience, combining expertise in critical care, aesthetic services, and community service. She is the owner of Gray Heron Aesthetics in Lubbock, Texas, where she provides aesthetic treatments to her community, and she has served as a flight nurse with Air Methods for 14 years, delivering life-saving medevac services. In addition, she conducts veteran exams for the VA, supporting a significant veteran population.

Shawna began her nursing career in 2005 after earning her RN from Clovis Community College and later completed her BSN from Post University in 2021. She most recently earned her Master’s in Family Nurse Practitioner from Purdue University in February 2025. She holds specialized certifications including FNP-BC, Certified Flight Registered Nurse (CFRN), and Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN), reflecting her advanced skills in emergency and critical care nursing.

In addition to her clinical work, Shawna is committed to giving back to her community. Approximately eight years ago, she founded Boots and Badges of the South Plains, a charitable organization serving first responders across 22 counties. Her professional growth has been supported by Air Methods, enabling her to continue full-time critical care work while advancing her education and managing her private practice.

Shawna is a member of the American Nurses Association and stays current in her field through continuous learning and professional development, regularly consulting journals such as the ANA Journal and the American Nurse Practitioner Journal. Her work reflects a commitment to excellence, compassionate patient care, and community impact.
