Saralyn Franklin is a dedicated registered nurse and servant leader whose career has been defined by a commitment to compassionate care, ethical practice, and the continuous improvement of patient outcomes. With extensive experience across emergency care, psychiatric nursing, behavioral health, substance use recovery, and residential treatment, she is passionate about helping individuals achieve improved quality of life while empowering healthcare professionals to make sound clinical judgments with confidence and autonomy. Her leadership philosophy centers on inclusiveness, diversity, innovation, collaboration, and professional growth.

Currently serving as an RN in detoxification, chemical dependency, and recovery at American Addiction Centers’ AdCare facility in North Kingstown, Rhode Island, Franklin provides safe and compassionate care to individuals experiencing substance use disorders and withdrawal. She assesses and monitors patients, administers medications according to established protocols, and collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to support effective patient outcomes. Her background also includes serving as a psychiatric charge nurse and house supervisor in travel nursing roles, where she oversaw admissions, mentored nursing staff, led educational initiatives, addressed patient and family concerns, and promoted efficient hospital operations.

Prior to her current role, Franklin served as Health and Wellness Director of Nursing at HYS in Greenville, Kentucky, overseeing a comprehensive medical team and the care of patients in a 143-bed residential treatment facility. In this leadership position, she managed departmental operations and budgets, developed policies and procedures, supported quality improvement initiatives, coordinated clinical training, and promoted staff development and succession planning. She also held several specialized leadership roles, including Sexual Assault Response Team Coordinator, Disability Coordinator, and Healthy Eating and Active Lifestyles Coordinator. Her experience further includes psychiatric charge nursing, crisis intervention, therapeutic interventions, psychoeducation, emergency nursing, staff supervision, and nurse preceptorship.

Franklin’s dedication to nursing leadership is supported by advanced education in Management and Leadership from Campbellsville University, as well as bachelor’s and associate degrees in Nursing from Grand Canyon University and Madisonville Community College, respectively. She also holds an associate degree in Law Enforcement Technology. Throughout her career, Franklin has demonstrated a steadfast commitment to serving patients, supporting healthcare teams, and fostering environments where professionals can grow and provide high-quality care. Through her servant leadership approach, she continues to advocate for compassionate healthcare, clinical excellence, and the empowerment of both patients and the professionals who serve them.
