Priti Nathani, DPT

Supervisor Therapist
Restore Rehab Services LLC
Pflugerville, TX 78660

Priti Nathani, PT, is a Physical Therapist at Restore Rehab Services LLC, where she provides specialized home health rehabilitation services. She brings over a decade of experience in physical therapy, having begun her career in 2012 after completing her bachelor’s degree in India. Her journey into the profession was deeply personal, inspired by witnessing the meaningful impact a physical therapist had on her father following a stroke, which motivated her commitment to helping others regain independence and quality of life.

For the past 14 years, Priti has worked extensively in the home health setting, serving the Austin area for a Houston-based organization while also functioning as a supervising therapist overseeing physical therapy assistants. She chose home health care because it allows her to focus on individualized, one-on-one patient care rather than the high-volume demands of outpatient clinics. In this role, she evaluates patients in their homes, addressing not only their physical rehabilitation needs but also assessing environmental and social factors that may impact recovery. She collaborates with medical social workers and community resources to support patients holistically when needed.

Priti currently serves as a Supervisor Therapist in the home health sector, where she evaluates patients in their homes, develops individualized plans of care, supervises physical therapy assistants, and connects patients with social resources as needed. She primarily works with the geriatric population, managing conditions such as stroke recovery, osteoarthritis, and post-operative rehabilitation. She is currently advancing her education in the Doctor of Physical Therapy program at the University of Montana, where she is in her second-to-last semester and expected to graduate in December 2026. Alongside her doctoral studies, she is also pursuing a certification in rehabilitation administration, with future goals of transitioning into a leadership role and exploring the intersection of physical therapy and healthcare technology to further enhance patient care delivery.

I have worked extensively in research and have paper publications, a book, and a patent filed in my name. I have also served as a peer reviewer for publications and judged competitions for up-and-coming entrepreneurs developing medical apps to help patients and clinicians. My patent involves a remote monitoring system that allows physical therapists to monitor patients doing their exercises and collect data on their progress, addressing the shortage of physical therapists and the inability to physically be there for everyone who needs care.

Q

What do you enjoy most about practicing medicine?

What I enjoy most is having one-to-one time with my patients. When I worked in outpatient clinics during my initial time in the field, it was more of a number game, and I didn't really like that. In home health, I get to develop unique relationships with my patients. I can evaluate them in their homes, see their living conditions, and address not only their physical needs but also their social needs. It's about serving the community in a meaningful way, not just treating patients like numbers.
