Melissa recently completed writing a memoir about her life story, which she is currently seeking to get published. The memoir chronicles her experiences being bullied throughout childhood and high school. She also experienced mental and verbal abuse by someone she thought had loved her. Also, she was able to overcome her childhood diagnosis of borderline mental retardation . The memoir celebrates her accomplishments of graduating high school and college despite these challenges.
