Matthew Zuch, Ph.D.
Matthew Zuch, Ph.D., is a licensed clinical psychologist with a strong background in clinical leadership, research, and private practice. Before establishing his private practice, he served as Clinical Director of the NYU/Langone Child Study Center – NJ Campus and held positions as Associate Research Scientist and Adjunct Associate Professor in the Department of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at NYU/Langone Medical Center. He is also a founder and co-owner of Neuro Boost, a transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) clinic in New Jersey, and has been featured on CNBC’s Squawk Box and in publications including USA Today and International Business Times.
Dr. Zuch co-founded and directed social skills groups at Fairleigh Dickinson University (FDU), where he also served as an Adjunct Professor in the School of Psychology. He currently works as Senior Clinical Supervisor for FDU’s doctoral program, mentoring graduate students and guiding clinical training. His clinical focus includes evidence-based interventions for children and adolescents, addressing ADHD, anxiety, depression, OCD, oppositional behaviors, and social-emotional development.
A nationally recognized speaker, Dr. Zuch has lectured on cognitive behavioral therapy, parenting strategies, social skills development, and the application of emerging technologies in mental health. He serves as a Medical Advisor to the Board of Directors of Altasparq, a company advancing AI for micro-expression and emotion recognition, and is a member of the Industry Advisory Board for the FDU Center for Artificial Intelligence.
Dr. Zuch holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Music Performance from the New England Conservatory of Music and pursued graduate trumpet studies at Yale University. He earned his Master of Arts and Ph.D. in Psychology from Fairleigh Dickinson University. Prior to his career in psychology, he performed professionally as a trumpeter with Philharmonia Virtuosi and the New York City Opera, demonstrating a lifelong commitment to excellence in both the arts and clinical science.

What I enjoy most about practicing medicine is being actively involved with my patients and guiding them toward achieving their health goals. I find it deeply rewarding to build meaningful relationships, understand their individual needs, and support them through every step of their care journey. Witnessing their progress and knowing that my expertise contributes to their well-being is both motivating and fulfilling, and it continually inspires me to provide the highest quality of care.
