Mark Anthony Jackson, B.S.

Mark Jackson is a detail-oriented data and laboratory professional with a Bachelor of Science in Natural Science with a concentration in Physics from the University of Pittsburgh. He brings a diverse technical background spanning data entry, data verification, quality control, production operations, programming, and scientific analysis. In 2026, he further expanded his analytical capabilities by earning the Google Data Analytics Certificate through Coursera, strengthening his foundation in data-driven problem solving and analysis.

Currently, Mark serves as a Lead Lab Technician at Three Rivers Optical in Robinson, Pennsylvania, where he works in a fast-paced laboratory environment handling a high volume of specialized orders. He performs data entry and verification, monitors production workflows, conducts quality control checks, and helps identify and resolve discrepancies. His responsibilities also include operating and troubleshooting production equipment, maintaining workflow records, and training employees on procedures, accuracy standards, and system usage.

Prior to his current role, Mark gained extensive experience in optical and medical environments. As an Optician at Sam’s Club in Monroeville, he managed patient, prescription, and insurance information while maintaining accurate electronic records and supporting insurance claims. He also held positions with America’s Best Eyeglasses & Contacts, Beitler-McKee Optical/Essilor of America, and Philadelphia Vision Center, where he developed strong skills in order processing, records management, customer service, production documentation, and administrative support.

His capabilities include Python, R, C++, C, MATLAB, and JavaScript, along with experience using Tableau, Microsoft Excel and Office applications, Google Sheets, CRM and database systems, and various creative and design software.
