Mark Silverberg

Mark Silverberg, DDS, MD, is a board-certified anesthesiologist and accomplished healthcare executive with decades of experience spanning clinical medicine, healthcare management, and medical innovation. Trained at the University of Illinois/Humana Michael Reese Anesthesiology Residency Program, Dr. Silverberg spent nearly 20 years providing anesthesia services in office-based and ambulatory surgical settings throughout the Greater Chicago area. His deep expertise in operating room dynamics, patient safety, and perioperative care has shaped both his clinical career and his entrepreneurial pursuits.

In addition to his medical background, Dr. Silverberg is the Managing Member of HEATJAC, LLC, an innovative company behind a patented temperature-regulating garment designed to address extreme cold exposure in operating rooms and beyond. Often described as a “wearable radiator,” HEATJAC uniquely projects heat outward to warm the space between garments, improving comfort while addressing infection-control concerns associated with forced-air warming misuse. With applications ranging from military and medical professionals to outdoor enthusiasts and individuals with Raynaud’s syndrome, HEATJAC reflects Dr. Silverberg’s commitment to practical, problem-solving innovation rooted in real-world clinical experience.

Dr. Silverberg also serves as Executive Director of Private Label Surrogacy and has held leadership roles with National Surrogate Record Review, where he applies his medical expertise to support intended parents, fertility centers, and surrogacy agencies through comprehensive medical record evaluations. Across all of his endeavors, he is recognized for bridging medicine, management, and invention—bringing physician insight, operational leadership, and patented technology together to improve outcomes, efficiency, and quality of life.
