Mark Hoch, MD, MDiv., DABIHM
Dr. Mark L. Hoch is a seasoned physician whose passion for holistic and integrative medicine began during his very first semester of medical school. After earning his medical degree and completing his residency in family medicine, he went on to become Board Certified in Family Medicine. Early in his career, he recognized the limitations of relying solely on conventional Western medicine and committed himself to studying healing systems from around the world. This broader perspective laid the foundation for the comprehensive, patient-centered approach that defines his work today. Over the decades, Dr. Hoch has shaped his practice around a mind-body-spirit framework that emphasizes optimal wellness rather than simply treating disease. His services include integrative and holistic consultations, nutritional medicine, lifestyle coaching, and manual medicine. He supports patients with a wide range of concerns, including osteoporosis, hearth health, thyroid and adrenal imbalances, hormone management, detoxification, metabolic conditions, cardiovascular health, and gastrointestinal issues. A Founding Diplomate of the American Board of Integrative Holistic Medicine, he has also served as President of the American Holistic Medical Association and also as Co-Chair of the Past Presidents Council of the Academy of Integrative Health and Medicine. Beyond his clinical work, Dr. Hoch is dedicated to mentorship and medical education. He has held academic and teaching roles mentoring medical students, residents, and practicing physicians across multiple institutions. In every setting, he strives to empower individuals to take an active role in their health, blending evidence-based Western therapies with whole-person wellness principles to help people achieve their fullest potential.
