Madonna F. Taueu is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) based in Ewa Beach, Hawaii, with extensive experience in clinical counseling, youth advocacy, and community-based mental health services. She earned her Master of Science in Clinical and Counseling Psychology from Capella University and holds both a Bachelor and Associate of Applied Science in technical fields, giving her a unique blend of analytical and interpersonal expertise. Her professional journey spans mental health, education, and biomedical technology, demonstrating her adaptability and commitment to serving others.

Since November 2024, Madonna has been providing intensive in-home and independent living skills support to youth aged 10–21 at Hale Kipa, where she offers therapy, case management, and community resource linkage. She is trained in Trauma-Informed Care, Crisis Management, and Youth Assessment, enabling her to address the emotional, educational, and social needs of young people and their families. Prior to this, she provided community-based case management for individuals with severe and persistent mental illness, helping them achieve stability and improve their quality of life.

Madonna has also dedicated significant time to spiritual and child development programs. From 2015 to 2024, she served with the Hawai’i Conference of Seventh-day Adventists, leading and training Children’s Ministry programs that strengthened parent-child relationships and fostered holistic child development. Her early clinical experience includes individual, group, and family psychotherapy internships, where she focused on relational and familial challenges and developed strong skills in treatment planning and client progress evaluation.

Before her mental health career, Madonna gained technical expertise as a biomedical technician and automation specialist, supporting medical centers and military education programs. This foundation in technical problem-solving complements her clinical work, allowing her to approach challenges with precision and care. Throughout her career, Madonna has demonstrated a consistent commitment to advocacy, service, and leadership, combining her clinical skills, technical knowledge, and compassionate approach to make a meaningful impact on the communities she serves.
