She also served as a program director on a Manhattan nursing-home floor specializing in Huntington’s disease and worked as a geriatric care manager, partnering with elder-law attorneys and navigating benefits systems such as Medicaid and Social Security Disability. This extensive experience informs her holistic, client-centered approach.
Lucia earned her undergraduate degree from Mount St. Mary College in Newburgh and her Master of Social Work from Stony Brook University, graduating in 2012. She actively contributes to the professional community as secretary and board member of Virginia Ann’s Angels, a nonprofit supporting families affected by Huntington’s disease, and participates in the Senior Umbrella Network of Nassau County.
