Lorrie Fischer Blitch, DNP, APRN, MSN-Ed, RN, is an accomplished nurse, educator, author, and entrepreneur with a distinguished career spanning clinical practice, academic leadership, and innovative educational initiatives. Holding advanced credentials in nursing and a Doctor of Nursing Practice, she has dedicated her career to improving patient outcomes, mentoring future healthcare professionals, and advancing the field of nursing education. Lorrie has been recognized for her contributions to education and leadership, including receiving the Excellence in Education Award from the Education 2.0 Conference. She brings a unique blend of clinical expertise, strategic vision, and passion for lifelong learning to every endeavor she undertakes.

In addition to her clinical and academic work, Lorrie is a dynamic keynote speaker and respected thought leader. She regularly addresses topics such as long-term educational outcomes following lockdowns, critical care innovations, and leadership development. Her international speaking engagements include the 2nd International Meet on Nursing and Healthcare in Paris, conferences in Valencia, Spain, and multiple global education summits, where she continues to influence dialogue on healthcare advancement and professional development.

Lorrie serves as a full-time professor in Jacksonville, where she mentors students and develops curriculum that bridges theory with real-world clinical practice. Alongside her academic role, she leads entrepreneurial ventures including Sea Suite to C-Suite at The Fire Watch and Holly Hall Farms Event Center, reflecting her commitment to innovation, leadership, and creating meaningful learning and professional environments.

Beyond her professional pursuits, Lorrie is a published author who has written numerous articles on healthcare, nursing education, and leadership. She also authored the children’s book The Blind Cat, highlighting her love for storytelling and inspiring young readers.
