Loren Moss, BSN, RN

Loren Moss is a registered nurse specializing in electrophysiology at Trident Medical Center. In this role, she assists electrophysiologists with complex cardiac procedures, including pacemaker implantations, ablations, and Watchman device placements. Her responsibilities include scrubbing in on procedures, monitoring patients throughout interventions, and supporting the setup and workflow of the electrophysiology lab.

She brings nearly seven years of nursing experience, including six years in the intensive care unit and four years as a travel nurse. These experiences have enhanced her adaptability, clinical judgment, and ability to perform effectively in high-acuity, fast-paced environments. Working across diverse healthcare settings has allowed her to develop a well-rounded skill set and a calm, focused approach to patient care.

Moss was drawn to nursing by a passion for medicine and helping others, beginning with an early focus on anesthesia and critical care. Over time, her career evolved toward electrophysiology, where she has found a rewarding balance between procedural precision and meaningful patient impact. She values compassion, flexibility, and lifelong learning, and is pursuing additional certifications in cardiac rhythm management while planning to cross-train in the cath lab, with the long-term goal of becoming a nurse practitioner.

Outside of work, she stays active and enjoys outdoor activities such as softball, volleyball, boating, and spending time at the beach. Moss’s approach to nursing combines technical expertise with a patient-centered focus, ensuring that every individual under her care feels safe, supported, and empowered throughout their healthcare journey.
