Laura van de Laar, MD

Dr. Laura van de Laar is a board-certified Otolaryngologist and Rhinologist, as well as the Physician and Owner of Your Houston ENT. With a passion for delivering exceptional, patient-centered care, she is dedicated to restoring a personal connection between physicians and patients—something she believes is essential to the healing process. Dr. van de Laar takes pride in offering compassionate, timely, and individualized treatment, including same-day and next-business-day appointments for acute conditions, ensuring her patients receive the attention they deserve.

Before founding Your Houston ENT, Dr. van de Laar served as an Otolaryngologist and Rhinologist at Houston ENT & Allergy and later at DeTar Healthcare System in Victoria, Texas. Her extensive clinical experience includes diagnosing and treating complex disorders of the ear, nose, throat, and sinuses, as well as performing advanced rhinologic and skull base surgeries. Her expertise spans both medical and surgical management, with a focus on improving her patients’ quality of life through innovative, evidence-based care.

Dr. van de Laar completed her residency in Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery at The University of Texas Medical School at Houston and went on to complete a prestigious fellowship in Rhinology and Skull Base Surgery at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. Combining advanced surgical skill with a genuine commitment to patient well-being, Dr. van de Laar continues to uphold the highest standards of excellence in ear, nose, and throat care for the Houston community.
