Kristen Piniewski, RDH, BSDH

Kristen Piniewski, RDH, BSDH, is a highly dedicated and accomplished Dental Hygienist based in California, Maryland. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene from West Virginia University in 2010 and has over 16 years of experience delivering compassionate, expert care to patients of all ages. Kristen is committed to lifelong learning and maintains all continuing education requirements to ensure her practice reflects the latest in dental hygiene standards and patient safety protocols.

Throughout her career, Kristen has served in a variety of dental practices, including pediatric and periodontal care. Her extensive experience includes numerous per diem roles, allowing her to refine her skills in general prophylaxis, scaling and root planing, periodontal therapy, implant maintenance, clear aligner therapy, dental emergencies, and infection control.

Kristen holds licensure to prescribe and administer medications, provide local anesthesia including IANB, and administer and monitor nitrous oxide. She is proficient in dental imaging technologies, including traditional, digital, and NOMAD X-rays, and skilled in dental charting, equipment maintenance, and airway evaluation.

Her dedication extends beyond clinical care. Kristen is involved in dental public health initiatives and has organized volunteer dental programs, contributing to her community’s access to oral healthcare. She was voted 2025 America’s Best in Medicine – Dental Hygienist, serves as a Colgate Bright Smiles, Bright Futures Ambassador, a BUSRT Ambassador, and a Dimensions of Dental Hygiene Ambassador, and is a member of the American Academy of Periodontology.
