Dr. Khaled F. Salhab, MD, FACS is a highly accomplished cardiothoracic surgeon and Clinical Assistant Professor of Surgery at NYU Grossman Long Island School of Medicine. With extensive experience in cardiac and thoracic surgery, he specializes in aortic and valve disease, transcatheter and minimally invasive procedures, and complex thoracic surgical interventions. Dr. Salhab is committed to advancing patient care through precision surgical techniques and innovative treatment approaches.

Dr. Salhab earned his medical degree from St. George’s University School of Medicine and completed his cardiothoracic surgery residency at the Mayo Clinic. He pursued advanced clinical training at the Cleveland Clinic, focusing on aortic surgery and endovascular procedures. Since 2013, he has served as a cardiothoracic surgeon at NYU Langone Hospital–Long Island, where he combines technical expertise with compassionate patient care. Previously, he lectured and mentored medical students and residents, contributing to the education and professional development of future surgeons.

An active contributor to the academic community, Dr. Salhab has authored multiple peer-reviewed journal articles and delivered presentations at regional and national conferences.
