What do you enjoy most about practicing medicine?
What I enjoy most about practicing medicine is learning about how the human body reacts to different patients. Every day I see different patients medical records that have different problems relating to the human body. The medical team that treat these patients use unique methods to solve the patients problem or to help manage the condition. As a medical coder I am part of the solution to the problem by ensuring that the correct diagnosis, procedure and evaluation is used correctly within the patients’s visit. I get to learn more about people, and provide assistance indirectly through my contribution. This level of satisfaction brings me joy when I go to work on a daily basis.
