Josie Mullally
Josie Mullally is a dedicated Holistic Health Counselor and Direct Support Professional who has devoted her adult life to serving individuals with developmental disabilities. Her career is rooted in compassionate, person-centered care, combining hands-on support with a deep commitment to improving quality of life for vulnerable populations. Through her independent work and long-standing experience in caregiving, she has built a reputation for providing comprehensive, dignified, and individualized support.
She operates as an independent contractor through two LLCs, Holistic Health Counselor and Grand Mesa Care, where she provides specialized services including hospice care, group home management, foster care, and in-home support for developmentally disabled adults. Her work spans both structured care environments and private home settings, allowing her to tailor services based on the unique needs of each individual. Over time, she expanded her practice to include in-home care models, offering a more personalized and stable environment for clients who thrive outside traditional group home systems.
In addition to her caregiving responsibilities, Josie holds legal guardianship of eight individuals with developmental disabilities and works closely with the court system to ensure their safety, rights, and well-being are protected. Her experience includes managing complex care arrangements and advocating for individuals who require lifelong support and oversight. Her approach emphasizes stability, continuity of care, and strong advocacy within both medical and legal frameworks.
Josie has also pursued extensive training in natural medicine, health coaching, and psychological coaching, further strengthening her holistic approach to care. She maintains certifications in CPR, First Aid, and CNA, which support her hands-on caregiving responsibilities. Her work has been recognized publicly, including a feature on the television program Women in Power, highlighting her impact and dedication to improving the lives of individuals with developmental disabilities through compassionate, integrative care.
