Jason Clark, OD

Dr. Jason Clark, OD, is a compassionate and results-driven optometrist based in Columbia, Missouri, with over 13 years of experience providing comprehensive eye care to patients of all ages. He practices at Fairview Eye Care, a two-doctor clinic where he works alongside his colleague to deliver patient-centered care across a wide spectrum of ocular health needs. Dr. Clark’s commitment to excellence is reflected in his broad clinical approach, serving pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations while emphasizing both preventive care and advanced disease management.

Dr. Clark’s professional expertise spans the full range of optometry services, including the management of acute and chronic eye conditions such as glaucoma, macular degeneration, and diabetic eye disease. He is highly skilled in specialty contact lens fittings, including multifocal, monovision, and myopia control lenses, as well as dry-eye-specific solutions. Dr. Clark holds a Doctor of Optometry from the University of Missouri–St. Louis, where he graduated summa cum laude, and a bachelor’s degree in accounting with a minor in chemistry from the University of Central Missouri. He has also served as a teaching assistant for ocular anatomy and physiology at UMSL and as adjunct faculty in chemistry at CMSU, blending clinical expertise with educational leadership. His certifications include specialized training from Johnson & Johnson, Cooper Vision, Alcon, and Bausch + Lomb.

Motivated by a family history of retinal disease and a lifelong interest in the sciences, Dr. Clark combines passion, knowledge, and empathy in every patient encounter. Outside of his professional life, he enjoys flying as a pilot and actively participates in church-based community initiatives.
