Dr. Hayden Cramer, M.S., D.C., F.I.A.M.A. is a fourth-generation Doctor and second-generation Doctor of Chiropractic. He is the owner of Chiro-Med of Colorado in Colorado Springs, specializing in personal injury and workers’ compensation cases, Dr. Cramer provides patient-centered, evidence-based chiropractic care that integrates multiple therapeutic modalities. His practice emphasizes holistic recovery, combining physical and mental wellness to optimize patient outcomes. Dr. Cramer earned his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Cleveland University–Kansas City College of Chiropractic, a Master’s degree in Sport and Performance Psychology, and completed a Fellowship in Medical Acupuncture (F.I.A.M.A.). Following his preceptorship at his father’s established chiropractic practice, he opened Chiro-Med of Colorado, continuing the legacy of integrated care pioneered by his father and grandfather (World Renowned Plastic Surgeon), who were both recognized leaders in standard and alternative medicine. His clinic employs a mixed-modality, evidence-based approach rather than an adjustment-only model. Dr. Cramer incorporates spinal and knee decompression, focal and radial shockwave therapy, cold laser therapy, infrared LED treatments, cupping, and other advanced techniques. The clinic’s care plan-based model and stacked treatment rooms allow him to efficiently treat a high volume of patients while maintaining personalized attention. Patients also have access to a traveling medical doctor who provides on-site injections when needed, further demonstrating his commitment to integrated care. Dr. Cramer’s approach reflects both clinical expertise and a commitment to education. His practice includes mentoring staff such as registered medical assistants and Certified Clinical Chiropractic Assistants, and he plans to begin accepting preceptor students from chiropractic schools within the next year. Through this, he continues his family’s long-standing tradition of training and inspiring the next generation of healthcare providers. Outside of work, Dr. Cramer maintains a strong interest in overall wellness and performance. He emphasizes both the physical and mental aspects of health in his life and practice, integrating principles from sport and performance psychology into patient care. His dedication to innovation, education, and comprehensive treatment defines his practice and reflects a lifelong commitment to improving patient outcomes through advanced, integrative chiropractic care.

What do you enjoy most about practicing medicine?
What I enjoy most about practicing alternative medicine is the ability to connect with patients and help them achieve meaningful improvements in their health and well-being. Early in my career, I completed my preceptorship in my father’s established practice, which gave me the foundation to learn the business side of healthcare while gaining hands-on clinical experience. Now, running my own practice, I focus on taking the time to truly listen to my patients, understand their concerns, and work to identify the root cause of their concerns. Being able to provide thoughtful, compassionate care and seeing patients feel better is what makes this work so rewarding.
