Gregory Faltyn is a highly experienced Physician Assistant with over three decades of clinical expertise spanning general surgery, neurosurgery, vascular surgery, and spine care. Currently serving at St. Joseph’s Health in Syracuse, New York, Gregory plays a critical role in the surgical team, offering first assistant support in the operating room, managing inpatient and outpatient care, and coordinating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive treatment plans.
Throughout his career, Gregory has held key positions in several respected institutions, including the CNY Spine Group, SUNY’s Department of Neurosurgery, and the Research Foundation of SUNY. Known for his clinical precision, patient-centered approach, and ability to mentor future medical professionals, he has also served as a preceptor for Physician Assistant students and trained third-year medical students during their neurosurgery rotations.
A graduate of Cuyahoga Community College’s Physician Assistant Program, Gregory has remained committed to ongoing education and professional development.
