Dr. Grace Kathrine Herriman, DNP, FNP-BC
Grace Kathrine Herriman, DNP, FNP-BC is a Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner based in Knoxville, Tennessee. With a strong foundation in family care, she specializes in providing comprehensive, patient-centered care to individuals across the lifespan. Grace is dedicated to improving health outcomes and promoting wellness, leveraging her expertise in critical thinking, communication, and advanced nursing practice to support her patients’ diverse needs.
Grace earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) in Family Nurse Practitioner from East Tennessee State University, where she also served as a graduate assistant and clinical instructor. Her doctoral research focused on improving sexual health history-taking and documentation in urban primary care practices serving high-risk populations. Prior to her advanced practice role, she gained extensive clinical experience as a peri-operative nurse, honing her skills in patient assessment, care coordination, and evidence-based practice.
A committed lifelong learner, Grace is an active member of Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing and the American Nurses Association. She holds certifications in Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) and Family Nurse Practitioner practice, reflecting her dedication to maintaining the highest standards of clinical care. Grace combines her clinical expertise, research background, and compassionate approach to provide exceptional care for her patients and support the next generation of nursing professionals.
