A graduate of Wilkes University with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, Cum Laude, Gerard combines clinical expertise with strong leadership and communication skills to enhance patient care, staff development, and operational excellence. His professional journey reflects a deep commitment to improving healthcare outcomes through education, mentorship, and effective management.

Gerard began his career as a substitute nursing instructor and progressed to supervisory roles in home health and hospice, where he oversaw staffing, budgeting, and departmental performance. This hands-on experience in clinical operations laid the foundation for his leadership in long-term care, where he now directs nursing teams, implements care protocols, and ensures regulatory compliance at Autumn Care Long Term and Rehab. His background also includes extensive experience in pharmaceutical sales and medical case management, providing him with a unique perspective on patient-centered care and healthcare system operations.

Outside of his professional responsibilities, Gerard is deeply committed to volunteerism, serving as a registered nurse with St. Vincent dePaul for over 40 years. He also enjoys outdoor activities, including hiking, biking, and beach outings, and pursues photography, drawing from his experience as a former professional wedding photographer.
