Emily Anker, MS, CCC-SLP
Emily Anker, M.S., CCC-SLP, is a dedicated speech-language pathologist and the owner of Brain Bridge Therapy, PLLC, serving clients across Iowa and Missouri. With over six years of clinical experience, Emily has provided individualized, evidence-based therapy to children, teens, and adults in both school and rehabilitation settings. She holds the Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) and is licensed to practice in both Iowa and Missouri.
Emily’s professional passion centers on helping individuals overcome communication challenges and regain confidence and independence. Throughout her career, she has worked with diverse populations, including elementary and high school students as well as adults recovering from brain injuries. Her approach to care is rooted in compassion, personalization, and a strong commitment to supporting each client’s unique goals and functional needs.
Originally from Earlham, Iowa, Emily earned her Bachelor of Arts in Communication Sciences and Disorders from the University of Northern Iowa and her Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology from Rockhurst University in Kansas City, Missouri. In addition to her clinical work, she has coached high school volleyball and basketball, reflecting her dedication to mentorship and personal growth. Outside of work, Emily enjoys walking her dogs, Lola and Bailey, working out, sewing, reading, and spending time with family and friends. She remains committed to making a meaningful impact through her practice while continuing to support and serve her community.
