Dorothy Diana Daga, MSN, RN

Dorothy Diana Daga is a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse with a strong background in psychiatric and mental health nursing. A graduate of Adelphi University with both a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and a Master of Science in Nursing Education, she brings a blend of clinical expertise, patient advocacy, and a passion for holistic care to every role she takes on. Her nursing journey has been shaped by her deep commitment to helping patients heal emotionally and physically, ensuring they feel supported, respected, and understood throughout their care experience. Throughout her career, Dorothy has gained extensive experience across multiple healthcare settings, including Catholic Health, Northwell Health, and New York City Children’s Center. At Catholic Health, she has served in both admission and inpatient psychiatric nursing roles, conducting assessments, administering psychotropic medications, and managing multidisciplinary care for patients with complex behavioral health needs. Her ability to foster trust and create a therapeutic environment has earned her recognition for her empathy, professionalism, and leadership within high-pressure clinical environments. She also was a COVID- 19 Vaccinator RN at Manhasset Park Drugs, INC. Beyond her clinical work, Dorothy’s dedication extends to continuous learning and professional growth. She is passionate about nursing education, patient safety, and mental health advocacy, aspiring to empower both patients and future healthcare professionals through knowledge and compassion. Outside of her professional life, she enjoys staying active, spending time in nature, and traveling—activities that rejuvenate her spirit and enhance her holistic approach to patient care.
