Q

What do you enjoy most about practicing medicine?

I derive the deepest satisfaction in caring for vascularly challenging pediatric patients, knowing that I have played a key role in ensuring they are able to receive the intended intravenous therapy. I take pride in establishing trust with both patients and their families, striving to make stressful procedures as comfortable and reassuring as possible. One of the most rewarding aspects of this field is caring for neonates and infants and later seeing them return as smiling, lively toddlers. Knowing that I contributed, even in a small way, to a child's care, makes this specialty worthwhile and motivates me to continue advancing in my practice.
