Delilah Renegar, DC, MSACP, DACBN, DABCI
Delilah Renegar, DC, MD, MS, is the Medical Director of Functional Medicine and Hormone Health at Aligned Modern Health, where she leads the growing scope of Functional Medicine and Clinical Nutrition. With a lifelong passion for medicine that began at age 10 with her first copy of Grey’s Anatomy, Dr. Renegar has been practicing internal medicine since 1989. Her dedication to patient-centered care and wellness drives her mission to empower individuals to take charge of their health through personalized, functional medicine approaches. Dr. Renegar earned her BA in Psychology at the University of Central Florida, graduating with honors. She received her medical degree, Summa Cum Laude, from the University of Science, Art and Technology, and her chiropractic medicine degree from the National University of Health Sciences (formerly NCC), where she was awarded the Joseph Janse “Outstanding Graduate” honor. Over her career, she has held numerous leadership roles, including serving as President of the Council on Nutrition for the American Chiropractic Association and President of the American Board of Chiropractic Internists. and teaching as post-doctoral faculty at both the National University of Health Sciences and the University of Western States. Currently she is on the faculty of Logan University where she teaches Pharmacology and Toxicology, Women’s Health and Minor Surgery. Prior to joining Aligned Modern Health in 2019, Dr. Renegar ran her own private practices and founded Nourishing Medicine, LLC, delivering integrative healthcare solutions. Her clinical interests include preventive health, education, and patient motivation. Known for her commitment to holistic and evidence-based care, she continues to advance functional medicine, emphasizing the sacred doctor-patient relationship and the importance of lifestyle in achieving optimal health.
