), an independent practice she established in 2022 in Honolulu, Hawaii. With a passion for women’s health and wellness, Dr. Twu is dedicated to providing compassionate, comprehensive, and personalized care to women at every stage of life. Her practice focuses on empowering patients through education, preventive care, and holistic approaches that support both physical and emotional well being.
Before founding her own practice, Dr. Twu served as an OBGYN at Hawaii Pacific Health, working at Kapiolani Women’s Center, Straub Clinic and Hospital, where she gained extensive experience in obstetrics and gynecologic surgery. She began her medical career at Providence Health & Services in Burbank, California, at Burbank Women’s Health and Providence Saint Joseph Medical Center. Over the years, she has become known for her attentive bedside manner, clinical excellence, and dedication to helping women make informed decisions about their health.
Dr. Twu earned her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from Touro University and holds a Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience from UCLA. She remains committed to lifelong learning and staying at the forefront of advancements in women’s healthcare. Outside of her practice, Dr. Twu enjoys snowboarding, traveling, and spending time with her family, activities that reflect her love for balance, adventure, and connection.

What do you enjoy most about practicing medicine?
As a board-certified obstetrician and gynecologist, I find the greatest joy in helping others by supporting women through some of the most meaningful moments of their lives. At Wellness OBGYN, I’m dedicated to providing compassionate, personalized care that empowers women to make informed decisions about their health. Every patient I meet reminds me why I chose this path, to combine science, empathy, and education in a way that truly makes a difference. Seeing patients thrive and knowing I’ve contributed to their wellness and confidence is what continues to inspire my passion for medicine every day.
