Cassandra Miranda, MSN, APRN, FNP-C

Cassandra Miranda, MSN, APRN, FNP-C, is the Lead Nurse Practitioner at Moffitt Cancer Center, specializing in gastroenterology and endoscopy within the GI Tumor Department. She began her career as a hospital-based nurse, trained in progressive care, and gained experience in the emergency room before becoming a nurse practitioner. Over the past ten years, she has combined her background in emergency medicine with gastroenterology, working in both inpatient and outpatient settings to provide comprehensive, patient-centered care across the lifespan.

Her professional focus is on gastroenterology, emphasizing compassionate, evidence-based care while fostering strong collegial relationships. Committed to lifelong learning, she is currently pursuing the Nurse Executive certification through the ANCC to expand her leadership and clinical expertise. She is board-certified by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and licensed by the Florida Board of Nursing.

Miranda attributes her success to her faith, dedication to continuous learning, and commitment to patient advocacy. She strives to create a collaborative, respectful, and patient-centered care environment. Outside of work, she enjoys staying active, spending time with family, and engaging in personal development to enhance her ability to serve patients and the broader community.
