With over two decades of experience, she treats a wide range of eye health issues—such as macular degeneration, cataracts, glaucoma, and diabetic retinopathy—while continuing to stay on the leading edge of clinical care and patient outcomes. Dr. Donald earned her Doctor of Optometry degree from the University of Missouri–St. Louis in 2002 and has built a clinical reputation centered on detailed eye examinations, prescribing corrective lenses when needed, diagnosing and treating ocular disease, and coordinating referrals to specialty care when appropriate. What do you enjoy most about practicing medicine?
What I enjoy most about practicing optometry is the ability to make a meaningful difference in patients’ daily lives through clear, comfortable vision and proactive eye health care. I truly value the relationships I build with patients over time, the trust they place in me, and the opportunity to educate them in ways that promote their long-term well-being. Helping someone see better—often immediately—is incredibly rewarding, but being a part of their overall health journey is what continues to inspire me in this profession.
