Brandy Krueg is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), proud Cherokee woman, Owner and Operator of a private mental health practice specializing in the care of frontline healthcare workers, first responders, and their families. With over 26 years of experience, she has built a distinguished career focused on trauma recovery, wellness, and resilience-building. As an In-House Therapist for the Stockton Police Department, Brandy partners with the Wellness Team to provide counseling, education, and critical support for staff navigating stress, trauma, addiction, and relational challenges. Her certifications in First Responder Counseling, Critical Incident Stress Management (CCISM), and EMDR enable her to deliver evidence-based interventions tailored to high-stress professions. Throughout her career, Brandy has held diverse roles that demonstrate her deep commitment to mental health advocacy and crisis response. She serves as a Trauma Social Worker in a Level 2 trauma emergency room and as an Emergency Response Social Worker with Sacramento County’s Children’s Protective Services, where she investigated cases of abuse and neglect, conducted forensic interviews, and collaborated with multiple law enforcement agencies on high-profile investigations. In her private practice, Krueg Therapy Services, Brandy empowers individuals through trauma counseling, wellness training, leadership coaching, and education for frontline staff and supervisors. She is also available for public speaking engagements and responding to critical incidents, offering guidance to organizations on managing stress, trauma, and resilience in service-based professions. Her programs emphasize work-life balance, personal growth, and recovery from the emotional toll of high-pressure work environments. What do you enjoy most about practicing medicine?

I love helping the helpers. When I needed to talk to someone who was culturally competent I could not find anyone. I do not want anyone ever to feel that way. I love seeing people live their best lives and thrive.
