Bonnie Lou Ricard is a Licensed Professional Therapist dedicated to enhancing patient wellbeing through compassionate, evidence-based care. With decades of experience in mental health counseling, she is known for her strong communication skills, empathetic engagement, and ability to develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each client’s unique needs.

Throughout her career, Bonnie has demonstrated expertise in clinical assessment, crisis intervention, and both individual and group counseling. She takes a detail-oriented approach to client evaluations, ensuring thorough assessments and the implementation of effective therapeutic strategies. Her work reflects a deep commitment to ethical practice, accurate documentation, and compliance with HIPAA and state regulations.

Most recently, Bonnie served at Orenda Counseling Center in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, where she developed personalized therapeutic strategies grounded in diagnosis and best practices in mental health counseling. Prior to that, she spent over two decades with Gateway Rehabilitation Center in Monroeville, Pennsylvania, conducting assessments, facilitating counseling sessions, delivering crisis intervention services, and consistently monitoring client progress to adjust treatment plans as needed.

Bonnie earned her Master of Arts in Psychology in Education from the University of Pittsburgh. She remains committed to ongoing professional development, regularly attending trainings and workshops to stay current with evolving trends and advancements in psychology and mental health counseling.
