Annie Echelbarger, MSN, AGACNP

Annie Echelbarger, MSN, AGACNP, is a dedicated Pulmonary Critical Care Clinical Director and advanced practice provider with over a decade of experience at Community Health Network in Indianapolis. Throughout her career, she has led a skilled team of inpatient providers, specializing in pulmonary and critical care, and has been instrumental in optimizing patient outcomes across multiple hospital sites. Her expertise spans critical care procedures, including intubation, central and arterial line placement, and she holds certifications in Critical Care Nursing, Cardiac Medical, Basic Life Support, and Advanced Cardiac Life Support.

Beyond her clinical work, Annie is a passionate advocate for provider well-being and professional development. Serving as the Lead APP for Well-being, she heads the Network APP Well-being Advisory Council and collaborates closely with the Employee Assistance Program to support the physical and mental health of practitioners at six sites. Her leadership extends to shaping organizational culture, promoting resilience, and fostering a supportive environment where healthcare professionals can thrive while delivering high-quality patient care.

In addition to her clinical and leadership roles, Annie contributes to the education of future nurse practitioners as an adjunct faculty member at Indiana University School of Nursing, teaching in the MSN Adult and Geriatric Acute Care Nurse Practitioner track. Her commitment to healthcare excellence is matched by her dedication to mentorship, strategic initiatives, and cultivating a culture that prioritizes both clinical outcomes and staff well-being.
