What do you enjoy most about practicing medicine?
Despite hearing "I hate the dentist" atleast once a day, I find the practice of dentistry satisfying as we have the ability to alleviate pain and suffering. Dentistry has great impact on quality of life as teeth directly impact function and general health. I also feel grateful to have the opportunity to spread awareness on common oral health concerns, educating patients on impacts of smoking and alcohol addiction, oral cancer screening and awareness, and the link of nutrition and oral health.
