Andrew Milder, O.D.

Dr. Andrew Milder, O.D., is a dedicated optometrist currently practicing at Modern Vision Solutions in West Des Moines, Iowa. Born and raised in Ottumwa, Iowa, Dr. Milder developed a passion for helping others early in life. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in Communication Sciences and Disorders, graduating magna cum laude from the University of Northern Iowa, before completing his Doctor of Optometry degree with honors at the Indiana University School of Optometry, where he was inducted into the Beta Sigma Kappa Optometric Honor Society.

Dr. Milder specializes in comprehensive vision care with advanced expertise in dry eye management, specialty contact lenses, myopia control, and refractive surgery comanagement. He previously served as president of the Illinois Valley Optometric Society and has contributed to the profession through leadership and volunteer work, including student volunteer initiatives with Optometric Services to Humanity and vision screenings for local schools and Special Olympics Indiana. His commitment to patient care and community service underscores his holistic approach to eye health.

Passionate about providing individualized care, Dr. Milder ensures that each patient receives thorough evaluations and tailored treatment plans.
