Ana R Bloch Muradas, MD
Dr. Ana R Bloch Muradas is a dedicated pediatrician and assistant professor at The University of Texas at Tyler Health Science Center under the UT Tyler School of Medicine. With more than 20 years of experience in medicine, Dr. Bloch Muradas has devoted her career to caring for children from newborns through 18 years old. Her decision to pursue medicine stemmed from a lifelong dream of caring for others, bringing healing when possible, and always providing comfort.
Dr. Bloch Muradas has developed clinical interests in pediatric infectious diseases, child development, and nutrition. Her extensive experience across different healthcare systems and countries has shaped her as a highly adaptable and empathetic clinician, capable of delivering exceptional care in diverse settings. She firmly believes that investing in children’s health, growth, and education is the foundation of a healthier society, and she is deeply committed to supporting families throughout every stage of their child’s development.
Before joining UT Health, Dr. Bloch Muradas served as a Primary Care Pediatrician at The Dimock Center in Boston and as Chief Resident at NYC Health + Hospitals/Metropolitan Hospital, where she also completed her pediatric residency through New York Medical College. Her earlier experience includes practicing pediatrics at Hospital Infantil João Paulo II in Brazil and completing a Fellowship in Pediatric Infectious Diseases at the University of São Paulo.
Dr. Bloch Muradas earned her Doctor of Medicine degree from the Medical School of Triângulo Mineiro in Uberaba, Brazil, and completed two pediatric residencies—one at the University of São Paulo and another at New York Medical College/Metropolitan Hospital in New York City. She is Board Certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and a proud member of the American Academy of Pediatrics and the American Medical Association.
