Amanda Goodhart, BSN, RN, CWOCN is a dedicated nursing professional with a career devoted to providing exceptional care, education, and leadership. With a focus on wound, ostomy, and continence care, Amanda combines clinical expertise with compassion to serve her patients while supporting and mentoring her colleagues. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Chamberlain College of Nursing, a diploma from The Reading Hospital School of Health Sciences, and is a proud member of the WOCN Society.
Amanda began her career in healthcare with foundational roles at HCR Manor Care and Tower Health, where she honed her skills in patient care, medication administration, and education. She progressively took on leadership responsibilities, serving as a Registered Nurse Supervisor and Unit Manager, guiding teams of nurses and CNAs while ensuring high standards of patient care and workflow management. Her early experience laid the groundwork for her specialization in wound care and patient education.
Currently, Amanda serves as a WOC Nurse Specialist at Lehigh Valley Health Network, where she provides advanced wound and ostomy care and educates both patients and staff members. Her prior roles at Tower Health included facilitating education programs, co-chairing unit councils, and serving as a wound resource nurse, demonstrating her commitment to excellence and mentorship in nursing practice. She is highly skilled in IV insertion, telemetry, critical care, and serves as a validator and preceptor for multiple competencies.
Amanda is a certified WOC nurse (CWOCN) and maintains BLS certification. Her qualifications and professional experience reflect a commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care, supporting her teams, and contributing to the advancement of clinical knowledge in her field. She is known for her ability to combine technical skill with empathy, ensuring her patients receive both expert treatment and compassionate support.
