Allison W. Carter, RN

Heather W. Carter has been a dedicated nurse since 2006, building a versatile career spanning emergency care, home health, hospice, wound care, and MedSurg nursing. She is currently a MedSurg Nurse, bringing her extensive clinical experience to inpatient care while maintaining certifications in ACLS, BLS, and PALS.

Heather previously served as Director at Healogics and co-ran the Outpatient Department at Forrest City Medical Center Wound Care Center, in partnership with a nurse practitioner. Her expertise included hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBO), advanced wound care, and comprehensive patient management. She developed a strong understanding of both clinical and administrative aspects of wound care, including financial and operational processes, which she mastered independently.

Her nursing journey began in emergency care, progressed through home health and hospice—a field she has been passionate about for over ten years—and expanded into specialized wound care and outpatient management. Heather holds an Associate of Science in Nursing from Phillips Community College with the University of Arkansas and is recognized for her clinical skill, adaptability, and dedication to patient-centered care.
