Alexander Male, MSW, LISW-S, is a licensed independent social worker and trauma-focused therapist dedicated to helping individuals and couples navigate life’s most challenging experiences. As the co-founder of Pathways of Peace Counseling and Consultation, he provides evidence-based psychotherapy and holistic healing services, including EMDR, CBT, DBT, and Reiki. Alexander’s work centers on supporting clients with trauma, substance use, anxiety, depression, chronic pain, and relationship challenges, offering inclusive care that honors the mind, body, and spirit.
With extensive experience in behavioral health leadership, Alexander previously served as Clinical Director at Caritas Treatment and Wellness Center, overseeing an Intensive Outpatient Program and guiding the organization through national accreditation by The Joint Commission. He has also provided trauma-informed therapy in multiple clinical settings, focusing on creating safe, nonjudgmental spaces for individuals to explore their struggles, build resilience, and achieve lasting change. His approach emphasizes collaboration, authenticity, and empowerment, allowing clients to reclaim their lives with confidence and purpose.
Outside of clinical practice, Alexander is committed to building accessible mental health services and fostering a culture of growth and compassion within his practice.
