Dr. Thalia Moshos, PsyD, is a clinical psychologist whose passion for psychology began early in life. She knew by age 11 that she wanted to become a psychologist, inspired by her mother, a nurse and nurse practitioner, who modeled the importance of serving others in a helping profession. From a young age, she began volunteering in hospital settings and developed a focused interest in eating disorders by the age of 11 or 12, setting the foundation for her lifelong clinical specialization and commitment to this area of care.

She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a minor in Fine Arts from Temple University in 2008, followed by her Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) in Clinical Psychology from La Salle University. She completed her postdoctoral training in 2013 and has since built a diverse clinical career spanning multiple regions of the United States. Her experience includes internship and postdoctoral work in eating disorder treatment in Philadelphia, serving as a program director for an eating disorder residential program in Washington, D.C., and later developing and managing an eating disorder program in Utah to address a critical gap in care.

Dr. Moshos is currently in private practice in Livingston, Montana, where she works under her own name and specializes in eating disorders, obsessive-compulsive disorder, trauma, and borderline personality disorder. She holds a specialized certification through the International Association for Eating Disorders Professionals (IAEDP) and is licensed in both Montana and Pennsylvania, with reciprocity in several additional states. Her decision to pursue private practice reflects her commitment to providing care aligned with her clinical values and standards. Deeply attuned to Montana’s mental health challenges—including high suicide rates among adolescents, as well as the needs of Indigenous communities, veterans, and individuals facing substance use disorders—she remains dedicated to addressing complex and evolving issues in eating disorder treatment, particularly in the context of changing cultural attitudes toward body image and emerging influences such as weight loss medications.
