Tanya A. King, RN, BSN

Tanya A. King, RN, BSN, is a seasoned healthcare professional with more than 25 years of experience in nursing and long-term care. She began her career in August 1998 as a CNA and steadily advanced through roles as a medication aide, LVN, and eventually RN, reflecting a strong commitment to professional growth and patient-centered care. She currently serves as the Director of Nursing at Arbor Hills Rehab and Healthcare, a Nexion Health facility in Eagle Lake, Texas, where she oversees clinical operations, nursing staff performance, and regulatory compliance while ensuring high standards of resident care.

In addition to her leadership role in long-term care, Tanya has extensive clinical experience across geriatrics, hospice, and home health. She has been working part-time in hospice care with Choice Hospice for several years, further strengthening her expertise in end-of-life and comfort-focused care. Throughout her career, she has developed strong skills in medication administration, infection control, care coordination, physician relations, and patient advocacy, consistently supporting both patients and their families with compassion and professionalism.

Tanya earned her Associate Degree in Nursing from Blinn College and completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Chamberlain University. She is currently pursuing additional specialization in wound care to further enhance her clinical expertise. Motivated by a strong sense of purpose and dedication to her family, she continues to grow as a leader in nursing while maintaining a focus on improving quality of care for elderly and long-term care patients.
