Tammy McGhee, FNP-C
Tammy McGhee, FNP-C, is a highly experienced Family Nurse Practitioner and registered nurse with nearly three decades of diverse clinical experience. Her nursing career spans medical-surgical, oncology, labor and delivery, mother/baby care, hospice (both homecare and inpatient), and office-based care in OB/GYN practices. Tammy combines her extensive clinical expertise with a passion for patient-centered care, ensuring that her patients receive compassionate, evidence-based treatment tailored to their individual needs.
In addition to her clinical work, Tammy has spent 10 years as an adjunct nursing instructor, mentoring and guiding future healthcare professionals. She holds an RN-BSN and completed her MSN-FNP at South University, graduating Magna Cum Laude and earning membership in the LaGrange Nursing Honors Society. Tammy is board-certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner through AANP and maintains advanced certifications in CPR and ACLS.
Tammy is also the founder and sole owner of POMPS—Peace of Mind Patient Services, LLC—where she focuses on providing comprehensive homecare and patient support services. Throughout her career, she has been recognized for her dedication, leadership, and ability to provide both high-quality patient care and professional mentorship, embodying a lifelong commitment to advancing healthcare in her community.
