Simona Delucia, MSN, APRN, FNP-C
Simona DeLucia, MSN, APRN, FNP-C, is a Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner and founder of DeLucia Vitality, a functional medicine and longevity practice dedicated to advancing women’s and men’s health through root-cause healing and lifestyle medicine. With more than 20 years of experience in nursing, her career has spanned emergency department care to building her own integrative healthcare practice. The transition from conventional medicine to functional medicine was transformative in shaping her philosophy of care. She believes strongly in addressing underlying causes of illness rather than only treating symptoms, often telling patients that once you transition from conventional to functional medicine, you rarely want to go back. Her personal health journey, including navigating Hashimoto’s disease, further deepened her commitment to patient-centered, whole-person healing.
At DeLucia Vitality, Simona specializes in women’s health, hormone optimization, thyroid restoration, gut health, autoimmune management, and longevity medicine, though she serves both male and female patients. Her clinical approach integrates advanced diagnostics such as comprehensive blood panels and Dutch hormone testing to identify imbalances in hormones, vitamin levels, and metabolic markers. She frequently educates patients on the connection between stress, inflammation, and chronic disease, emphasizing lifestyle modifications including nutrition, physical activity, stress management, and environmental wellness. Treatments may include bioidentical hormone replacement therapy, vitamin supplementation or injections such as vitamin D, and targeted regenerative and peptide therapies. She often reminds patients that while she provides medical guidance, successful outcomes require active participation through healthier lifestyle choices and stress reduction to break cycles of cortisol-driven inflammation.
Beyond clinical practice, Simona is passionate about longevity science and global wellness education. She is trained in functional medicine through the Institute for Functional Medicine, certified in bioidentical hormone therapy through BIOTE®, certified in peptide therapy through the SSRP Institute, and trained in longevity protocols through NubioAge. She believes it is possible for individuals to live longer, healthier lives—potentially even reaching advanced longevity milestones—when biological optimization is combined with emotional resilience and lifestyle balance. A member of global wellness initiatives and a strong advocate for holistic healing, she is also a proud mother of two and a lifelong traveler who enjoys exploring ancient healing traditions. Through DeLucia Vitality, she continues to champion a healthcare model where science, prevention, and the human spirit work together to promote lasting vitality.

What do you enjoy most about practicing medicine?
What I enjoy most about practicing medicine is the transformation not just physically, but emotionally and energetically. I love when a patient walks in exhausted, dismissed, or frustrated, and over time begins to feel strong, clear-minded, confident, and in control of their health again. That shift is everything to me.
I also deeply value the detective work of functional medicine connecting patterns, listening between the lines, finding the root cause instead of masking symptoms. It allows me to treat the whole person, not just a lab value.
But more than anything, I love the relationships. Medicine, to me, is human connection. It’s trust. It’s guiding someone back to themselves and watching them realize their body isn’t broken it just needed the right support. That’s the part that fills me up
