Rowena Gler, MSN, RN
Rowena Gler, MSN, RN is a transformational healthcare leader and nurse practitioner with over three decades of diverse experience in cardiology, neuro, critical care, and interventional services. Based in Los Angeles, California, she has earned a reputation for her dynamic leadership, clinical expertise, and holistic understanding of hospital operations, healthcare business strategy, and information technology. A true change agent, Rowena has played an instrumental role in optimizing service line development, driving operational excellence, and leading multidisciplinary teams across major healthcare systems, including Stanford Health Care and Sutter Health.
Rowena began her nursing journey in the Philippines, earning her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Ateneo de Zamboanga University, before transitioning to the United States to expand her clinical and leadership impact. Her early experiences in critical care and cardiology laid the foundation for her later work managing complex cardiac catheterization laboratories and interventional departments. She went on to earn her Master of Science in Nursing from United States University, graduating with distinction and becoming a Family Nurse Practitioner. While she found success in clinical practice, her passion for transformational leadership ultimately guided her toward executive management, where she continues to lead innovative programs and improve patient outcomes.
